Seitai Hodoki and

Stress and muscular tension

Chronic stress and fatigue often accumulate in the body as diffuse muscular tension, particularly around the shoulders, neck and back.

How does stress show up in the body?

Faced with stress, the body naturally adopts protective postures — raised shoulders, clenched jaw, contracted back. When this state persists, muscles remain permanently tense, which can lead to fatigue, diffuse pain and disturbed sleep. This tension–fatigue–stress cycle often sustains itself over time.

How Seitai Hodoki can support stress and muscular tension

Through its slow undulations and Ki diffusion, Seitai Hodoki induces a deep release of the nervous system as much as the muscles. Many people describe an intense state of relaxation during and after the session, conducive to both physical and mental recovery.

How a session unfolds

Sessions are given fully clothed, in comfortable clothing made of natural fabric. Please also bring a towel or body linen. An initial intake assessment helps identify the origin of the tension before shaping the session.

Seitai Hodoki is a complementary approach — it does not replace medical care.
